2017 GoogleFEST has ended

GoogleFEST is a two day professional and personalized learning conference for educators.

August 8 is dedicated to Google workshops and August 9 is a full conference including keynote speaker Kasey Bell!

It is presented by the Michigan Association of Computer Users in Learning (MACUL) and CDW-G.

Many studies support the idea and importance of intentional vocabulary study as well as wide exposure to reading. The need to integrate vocabulary instruction with writing instruction is quite necessary. Yet, the challenge in doing so remains as difficult as ever. In this interactive workshop, participants will use tools such as Wevideo, Google Documents, and Quizlet to create engaging lessons and videos so vocabulary instruction is no longer memorizing words long enough for a test and then never using them again.
