2017 GoogleFEST

In this session you will get a chance to build activities and connect yourself and your students through documents, slides, forms and spreadsheets using Google Classroom or another collection home space.

You will learn how to use your Google Classroom to provide lessons and activities that help you keep track of work students have completed in an organized way. These activities will vary and have multiple ways to be assessed.

You will get a chance to try features within these different Google formats to enhance student learning and the efficiency under which you are gauging their learning. In addition, you will learn how to communicate with your students through documents and slides while they work no matter where you physically are.

When you leave this workshop, you will have connected assignments to Google Classroom, created documents and slides in which you've used the suggesting and editing tools, and other features, and created forms to collect information and data for your classroom. In just a few hours, you will have a strong foundation to keep your students interested and engaged while you're communicating and assessing their progress by simply harnessing the power of Google.
